Various kinds of urologic surgeries like Pyeloplasty, Radical Nephrectomy, Simple Nephrectomy, Donor Nephrectomy, Ureterolithotomy, VEIL, RPLND, VVF repair, Radical Cystectomy are being performed laparoscopically.
The theatres are equipped with Hormonic Scalpel, Vessel Sealer, Modern HD Cameras and Monitors.
Open Operation Theatre
ll Major and high risk surgeries are performed routinely such as Radical Cystectomy with Neobladder, Radical Prostatectomy, Radical Nephrectomy, Buccal Mucosa Graft Urethroplasty, also performed Live & Cadaveric Renal transplant surgeries .etc.
PCNL Theatre
An exclusive theatre has been Inaction since 1986. Dr. Arthur smith, one of the stalwarts In PCNL surgery provided training to us. Since then the number of patients taken care of by this procedure exceeds 15,000. The average output of this theatre Is about 8-1O cases per operation day.
The Department has performed more than 50000 PCNL procedures since its inception in 1986. The Theatres are well equipped with modern HD Cameras, Monitors, Holmium Laser URS (Uretero Renoscopy Procedures) Flexible Ureteroscope (RIRS).
Endoscopy theatre
All sort of urology -endoscopic procedures are performed in the theatres that are equipped with modern camera & HD Monitor.
SONOGRAPHY Machine
Sonography machine has been installed for sonoguided procedures as PCN, TRUS biopsy etc.
